My second box has arrived on the same day I’ve ordered and subscribed for more. For those of you that don’t know, I’ve recently started collecting Disney pins. It’s a fun but expensive hobby and not easy when you live in the UK and have to pay extortionate postage for any that you really want. Magical Pin Box UK is the only pin box that I know of that offers official Disney pins every month. They have recently set up their own website: https://www.magicalpinboxuk.co.uk/ and now offer a subscription service as well as one off boxes. The boxes range from £20-55 depending on the number of pins and the rarity of what will be included. You specify what type you collect (ie. Mulan, Alice in Wonderland) and they do what they can to add to your collection.
The box that I’m reviewing is the Pro box which is £40 and includes one Limited Edition pin. I unfortunately was a tiny bit disappointed by the pin I received as it is a Tigger pin which I don’t collect, I must have said Winnie the Pooh and not specified that I like Eeyore. It is still Limited Edition of 2400 and I will hopefully be able to trade for a pin I like, but I made sure with my order today to specify more things that I actively collect to give the people behind the box more scope for what they can include.
The next pin is adorable, I love Flounder and I will add him to my board as soon as I’ve uploaded this blog. He’s very cute. The same with my Mulan pin, I love Mulan and it is one of my main collections (along with Philharmagic) and any new ones that I can add to my board are brilliant. I haven’t seen this particular pin before and I like that it’s a more obscure one (as far as I can tell).
That’s it for the pins, happy with the quality of all of them and can’t wait to do more trading. It will be a long month until the next boxes arrive, but I already can’t wait for them.
I really recommend this box, they take so much care in what they send to you, it is expertly wrapped, and delivery took two days, which is fantastic.

Hello to my lovely readers, if you’re still out there. It’s been awhile since I uploaded anything but with university over and a new job on the horizon I might be able to start up some new subscriptions. There still won’t be regular updates, more as and when I purchase.
This one is a bit different, a new one-off box for people that collect Disney pins. I’ve recently started collecting rather then just purchasing the odd pin when I go on holiday. This is a unique box as it is available to people in the UK, from the UK. There are four boxes to choose from that range from £20-48 depending on how many pins and if you want limited edition pins included. The box in the review is the Rookie box which cost £32 and included 5 pins none of which are limited edition.
The box comes well packaged and with the logo on the outside, so you know exactly what you’re about to open. There is a handwritten postcard inside which is a really nice touch and adds to the feel of the box being personalised to you. The pins are wrapped in tissue paper and tied with a ribbon and sticker (which I removed and added to my sticker collection to use at a later date) but the individual pins come wrapped in bubble wrap to keep them protected.
When you purchase one of these boxes you can specify what type of collection you prefer, I stated, Mulan, Philharmagic, and a few others that are my smaller collections that I still love. I was absolutely blown away with the pins I received. Two from Mulan which I have been eyeing up for awhile and a new Mickey’s Philharmagic pin which is a bit of an obscure collection and never expected them to be able to include one in my box, very grateful. It also has a moveable element with Donald (my favourite classic character) and will go nicely on a pin board when I get around to buying one.
The other two pins that are included were no less impressive, the Mickey head is one that I will put into a trade for a later date as it doesn’t quite fit with what I collect, but it’s still great quality. The Piglett is adorable as well, I will hold onto it for now as I do like Winnie the Pooh pins and have a small side collection, but he will likely be put into a trade at a later date as well.
So not only have I added three pins to my collection, but I have added to my trading pot as well which when you get into collecting these pins; is just as important as the collection itself at times.
A massive thank you to all the staff at Magical Pin Box UK, the link to their Facebook group is: https://www.facebook.com/magicalpinboxuk/ and they are in the process of getting a website up and running to make purchasing the boxes easier. For now, you order through Facebook, the September boxes have just sold out but keep your eyes open and they will let you know when the next set of boxes become available.
Thanks for reading!
